Hurricane update

We were physically impacted by both Hurricane Helene & Hurricane Milton, and have been displaced from our homes. In addition to losing our home and personal belongings, we lost almost all of the care package inventory and special event items.

We are not able to process care package requests at this time, and are working diligently to rebuild — both personally and the charity.

We are continuing to offer resources, including connections between Sailors & Survivors. However, we are not able to process care package requests at this time.

We are working diligently to rebuild the charity, and would greatly appreciate any donations you can provide.

Two of our current priorities are:

  1. Rebuilding our care package inventory, in order to begin sending these out to Sailors in need; and

  2. Preparing for our Spring fundraiser in Englewood, FL.

We do not have a timeline just yet for resuming care packages; that will depend on how quickly we can repurchase the items needed to assemble them based on our finances.

We had to cancel our Fall fundraiser in Dunedin, FL due to the hurricanes, and look forward to getting back on-track in April with our Spring fundraiser. Watch our News page for more updates there.

We are working to repurchase all of the inventory necessary to assemble the care packages, and we would appreciate any financial support you can provide.
